Why can't I login to the website?
If you are experiencing difficulty logging onto the TACE Website, the problem may be one of several situations:

1) Incorrect User Name and/or Password - your User Name is the name you selected the very first time you registered in this website. Your Password was sent to you by email at the time you registered. Also, you may have updated that Password during one of your last visits to this site. 2) Version of Web Browser – in some situations, we have seen various versions of Microsoft Explorer having difficulty loading this website. You might consider installing FireFox (free download available at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/firefox.html) to use as your primary web browser. Firefox is more compatible with a greater number of websites than most other browsers.

How do I add new members to our Institutional Membership, during the year?

There are a couple of ways to add new members, throughout the membership year.

1) If the new member is replacing an existing member, the easiest thing to do is send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and request that the new member name replace that of the old member name, and that a new User Name and Password be set for the new member.

2) If you want to add a new member without replacing an old member the easiest way is to have them go to the website and follow the Register process starting with the Register button in the top right corner of the home page. The new member will be able to designate their college and select Institutional Membership during the process. The TACE Treasurer will then be able to add the new member to your college’s Institutional Membership listing. If the addition of the new member exceeds your limit on your membership, the TACE Treasurer will contact the new member with instructions for payment of the additional membership fee.

How do we renew our Institutional membership?

How do we register for the Annual Conference?

How do I vote in the TACE 2010 Elections?

Only active TACE members are allowed to vote in the election.

Election Process Opens - March 15, 2010

Election Process Ends - April 15, 2010

Results of the elections will be announced at the Business Meeting on April 21, 2010, during the TACE Conference.

Regional Representatives:

The following Region Representative positions are up for election during this spring's election process: West Region; Central Region; and North Region.  Only TACE members from these specific regions are allowed to vote for their Regional Representative.  There is at least one candidate running for each position.  After you log into the TACE website, you will find in the “Documents” area, a folder titled “Candidate Biographies” where you can download and review a copy of the biographies of the candidates for these positions.  Click on the file name to find the download button.

By-Laws Changes:

There are three (3) areas of the current TACE Constitution and By-Laws that have proposed changes.  All TACE members are allowed to vote to approve the proposed By-Laws changes.  After you log into the TACE website, you will find in the “Documents” area, a folder titled “Proposed By-Law Changes” where you can download and review a copy of the current By-Laws with proposed changes highlighted and a document that summarizes the proposed changes.  Click on the file name to find the download button.

How to Vote in the New TACE Website:

2) Visit the “Documents” area of the site (button in left hand column) and review the candidate biography and By-Laws changes documents as described above.

3) When you are ready to vote, visit the “TACE Elections” are of the site (button in left hand column) and you will find the three Regional Representative elections and one By-Laws election.

4) To vote for a Regional Representative, click on the name of that election then click on the number listed in the “# Of Candidates” column.  You will then be able to cast your vote for your preferred candidate.  Disregard the option to “Nominate Someone” (if it is visible) since the nomination period is closed.

5) To vote for the By-Laws Changes, click on the name of that election.  You will then find 3 separate “Position Names” listed (i.e. the 3 different proposed changes).  For each of the 3 proposed changes, click on the number listed in the “# Of Candidates” column.  You will then be able to cast your approval (or disapproval) vote for the proposed changes. Disregard the option to “Nominate Someone” (if it is visible) since this does not apply to the By-Laws approval process.

6) Log off of the site.
