Welcome to
the Texas Administrators of Continuing Education for
Community/Junior Colleges (TACE/CJC) State Association's
"point of presence" on the World Wide Web.
TACE/CJC
is an organization of professionals in the field of
continuing and workforce education who work in Texas
community, junior, and technical colleges.
Established
in 1979, TACE/CJC provides direct communication between
state agencies and college administrators responsible for
the development and implementation of courses and programs
for continuing and workforce education.
In
today’s changing world, this communication between
educators and their regulatory agencies is ever more vital.
Additionally, TACE/CJC
and the Continuing Education divisions of local
community, junior and technical colleges serve as vital
links between their
community's business, government and industrial
organizations by providing
education and training resources that help the workforce
remain competitive
in a global economy.
In meeting
these training and educational needs, the colleges and TACE/CJC
contribute to the health and well-being of the Texas economy
by providing a quality workforce for Texas.
