TACE/CJC
ANNUAL CONFERENCE
The Annual Spring Conference is one of the high points of the year for TACE/CJC
members. This Conference brings the state's leaders in continuing education
together to learn about: trends in the economy; regulation changes or new
training requirements mandated by state agencies; legislative updates; new
innovative program ideas; business issues facing the organization; and much
more. Conference attendees also enjoy ample time for informal networking with
peers.
The TACE/CJC
Conference is a sharing of information between community/junior college
continuing education administrators, state legislators, heads of state agencies,
and professional associations. The 2008 Conference theme of "TACE ... It's the
Network" recognizing the value that our statewide organization contributes to
each of its members by offering the support and networking necessary for
success. Many continuing and workforce education leaders in Texas acknowledge
this Conference as the "highlight of their year!"
The 2008 TACE/CJC Conference will be held on April 23, 24, and 25th at
the Omni Hotel - Southpark, 4140 Governor's Row, Austin, Texas. The hotel can be
contacted at 512-448-2222 or 800-843-6664 or fax 512-442-8028. A block of rooms
will be reserved at the "state rate" under the name "TACE".
