Guidelines for the Disbursement of TACE
Scholarship Funds
1.  
    All monies
collected from events/efforts designated for support of the TACE Scholarship
Fund will be delineated from "general” funds of the organization and designated
to this purpose.
    
2.  
    One hundred
percent of the monies collected/designated for support of the TACE Scholarship
Fund will be disbursed according to the guidelines contained herein.
    
3.  
    Disbursements
from the TACE Scholarship Fund will be in support of the mission of the
organization in two primary categories:
    
    - Professional development of TACE members -
    Professional development may include activities such as presenting papers,
    attending meetings as presiding organization officers, visiting exemplary
    programs, and attending conferences and seminars for professional
    development.  The funds may also be used to bring speakers or programs to member institutions for professional development that would benefit a number of staff.
        
    
 
    - Individual scholarships to students of institutional
    member colleges for participation in Continuing Education
    courses/programs.
 
4.  
    A disbursement to
any one individual within a calendar year is limited to $300.
    
5.  
    Disbursements to
any one institutional member within a calendar year are limited to a maximum of
three.
    
6.  
    A minimum fund
balance of $500 will be maintained.
